The Paragraph


1. Please define what a paragraph is.
A paragraph consists of several sentences that are grouped together.

2. What are the three main parts of a paragraph?
Paragraphs have three principal parts.  These three parts are the topic sentence, body sentences, and the concluding sentence.  We will also talk briefly about details in paragraphs.

  3. Identify some characteristics of the topic sentence.
The first sentence in a formal academic paragraph.  (Sometimes this is not true, but as you practice writing with this online lesson site, please keep to this rule unless you are instructed otherwise.)

4. Identify some characteristics of the supporting sentences.
The sentence introduces an overall idea that you want to discuss later in the paragraph.

5. Identify some characteristics of the concluding sentence.
·         Topic sentences are general, and details should appear later in the paragraph.
·         Paragraphs are usually about one main thing and so their topic sentences should also be about only one main thing.

 6. Write one topic sentence for each of the following topics:
·         My hometown is complicated because there are many delinquency and the people there are preoccupied for others to for them
·         I like travel to London where each part of the city have culture and the most people studied.

 7. Choose one of the above topics and write ONE complete paragraph  about it.
The place that i like to travel. London it have one variety of things for example the education is more important knowledge by the researches of high level, too the atractions main to london are: the British Museum, The royal Albert Hall hosts concert and musical events,Wenbley stadium.  The Temesis river,  divided the city  into two halves  is very saw in  the movie and is very import in the city story, These are basically  something of the things that I like to London its culture, its educative developed and economy.

Biography of Salvador Dali

Salvador Dalí
-he was born in figueras, España, 11 may of 1904 he dead in 23 January of 1989.
-he started his studies in REAL ACADEMIA DE BELLAS ARTES DE SAN FERNANDO.
-he was implementing his cubist art in Madrid
-after his eviction of the Academy he went to Paris when he met Pablo Picasso
-he was a Spain painter very important because is a representatives of surrealism.
-One of his most famous works is soft watches.
-he passionate the eastern clothing and the passion luxury
-August of 1929 he met his wife Gala called Elena Dmitrievna Diakonova.
-his image with his family was strong for not accepting his marriage.
-he arrives to New York in 1943 when his write the life secret of Salvador Dali.
-he was considered one of the most important influences of pop art without despising Andy Warhol
-Andy had a great interest in math and science because their works to focus on geometric shapes
-he create a TV spot when his doing an interview.
-some of his works were popular as sculptures.
-the importance that have the works of Salvador Dali were very influential to great painters, even is a dream achieve to be like his legacy.
-always me like such the works that did have a way of changing the mind the persons, showing the true face hidden each one and true feeling.

"Passive Voice and Conditionals"

1.       The passive tense is used because..
R: is the form of change our actions and doings, is focus on someone or something its no know what is doing.

2.       When do we use the passive voice?
R: when i wanna say someone in sure form, I don’t know agent the action, it unknown the origin of special something.

PRESENT TENSE is Object+To be (present)+Past Participle+(by + subject)* *If needed.
PAST TENSE is subject+ was+participle+object
PRESENT PROGRESSIVE is subject+ being +past particple+object

Notice that we are thinking about a future condition. We use the past simple tense to talk about the future condition. We use WOULD + base verb to talk about the future result, we use the verb to be used in one context determined how something that maybe happen.

1.       If the midfielders HAD PASSED the ball more exactly, our team WOULD HAVE HAD more chances to attack.
2.       If the forwards HAD RUN faster, they WOULD HAVE SCORE more goals.
